The Six State Super Perm is open to all RUSA members and RUSA membership is open to everyone! No advanced notice is needed but most riders will enjoy the process of planning their trip and customizing their routes before heading out.

Step 1: Become a Randonneurs USA Member or ensure your membership is up-to-date. RUSA Membership is currently $35/year.

Step 2: Add the Permanent option to your RUSA account. The cost is currently $25 per calendar year. Note, you’ll need to create a RUSA.org user account first.

Step 3: Pick which segments(s) you want to ride and note the 4-digit perm number. On the RUSA website, click the “My Account” link on the upper right and then the “Permanent” tab. Enter the 4-digit perm number and complete the waiver & registration process.

Step 4: Pick your route! You can use the designated route, one of the alternates listed on this website, or design an entirely new route. Just remember that riders do not get extra time for adding distance beyond what is listed for that permanent with RUSA. Also note you’ll need to start/finish your ride using the designated controls and pass through any intermediate controls if they are used.

Step 5: Go ride! You can document the route by getting a receipt at the controls, taking a time-stamped (cellphone) photo at the controls, or saving your GPS track. After finishing, return to the RUSA “My Account”
